We’ve lowered our annual water usage by an estimated 4,680,000 gallons and installed a rainwater collection system which provides 52,000 gallons for every 1” of rain. We also have a system that takes heat from our waste-water and uses it to heat the incoming water.
We reduce, reuse, and recycle.
- Instead of discarding used wire hangers, we collect, clean, and reuse them.
- We’ve eliminated single-use coffee cups in our break rooms. Staff now have their own china mugs on our “Mug Wall.”
- We use poly-bags with recycled content, and offer a discount to customers who opt out of using poly-bags.
- Uniforms and linens that don’t pass our quality control standards are turned into cleaning rags, and we donate the lab coats and medical uniforms to non-profits like the Red Cross.
